Once a month, North Mankato City staff will post a story about North Manksato on the city's Facebook page and website.

The city will continue to evaluate the history of Northern Mankato to determine whether additional markings should be added and will work with the Nicollet County Historical Society at least once a year to provide the people of Northern Mankato with an opportunity to learn more about the history of Northern Mankato through presentations, projects and demonstrations. The city's Historic Recognition Program recognizes the history of North and Mankingato by walking through historic sites, creating a website dedicated to sharing and preserving our history, a library with a historical collection and posters on display, five historical plaques commissioned by the City of North Manksato and the City of Minneapolis - St. Paul, and the use of historical markings. Promoting and Present the History of North Mkato, in collaboration with the Nicollets County Historical Society.
